First, thanks for the amazing responses to our company announcement yesterday, I really appreciate it. Today, I’m excited to share the trailer for Hi Barr’s first show, You Had To Be There—coming this January! 

You Had To Be There is a first-of-its-kind podcast where we’re taking listeners back to iconic moments in pop culture history where…you had to be there. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill interview show; it’s a journey to the past in a race against time to land the interview and get the story. 

Each episode, we’re giving a different host an assignment: Find and interview an eyewitness to an iconic moment in pop culture history…in just 48 hours.

The Catch? Hosts have no idea what their assignment will be, so it's impossible to prepare! It’s about learning in real-time, working the phones, talking to experts, calling friends, and figuring it out…all to LAND THE INTERVIEW and GET THEIR STORY! 

This season we’ve covered some of the most iconic moments in music, movies, sports, television from 1969 to 2000 where…you had to be there, but we’re not going to spoil the surprise right now. That wouldn’t be any fun, would it? We can’t wait for you to listen this January!
